Here are some Tricks on How To Thread Eyebrows At Home

Method 1

Pluck your eyebrows with paraffin wax

1. Provide the necessary equipment. You are going to need a microwave warming wax, tweezers, makeup brush or lollipop stick, eyebrow brush or comb, powder or an eyebrow pencil, a pair of small scissors and strips of cotton fabric (which you can cut out of an old t-shirt

2. Rinse your face with warm water. This will open your hair follicles and make hair removal less painful. Prepare the top of one of your eyebrows. Pluck only one eyebrow at a time so you can concentrate on your task. Avoid wax getting into your eyes! If you don’t feel comfortable, stop and have someone apply the wax to you.

3. Trace the outline of your eyebrows with light powder. The goal is to mark the areas you are going to wax. So you don’t remove more hair than expected. Use a small makeup brush to apply the powder to your face.
Alternatively, you can use an eyebrow pencil to create a stronger line of demarcation. You will need to check that the start point, end point, and arch of each eyebrow are clearly marked before you begin. You can do this by making dots with a makeup pencil.

4. Heat your wax without covering the pot. Microwave it for just 10-15 seconds or 5-10 seconds if you only have half the wax left. Do not boil the wax. Mix to make sure that the wax is evenly hot (and that it has a consistency close to honey

5. Dip the stick of a lollipop or the tip of your brush into the wax. Quickly, but carefully, while the wax is still warm, pour it over the hairs you want to remove above your eyebrow. Then, place a strip of fabric over this area, press firmly and position it in the same direction as your hair growth. Let sit for a few seconds then remove the strip. Don’t worry, you’ll be pulling your hair out, not your skin, so it shouldn’t be painful.

Avoid pulling up and back, as this could hurt you.
After removing the strip, press your fingers firmly against the skin to reduce pain.
You should only epilate under and between your eyebrows, never over them. Waxing above your eyebrows can result in an unnatural look.

6. Brush your eyebrow. Use the comb to gently comb your hair upwards. Cut the remaining or too long hairs (only those coming out of your comb) with your scissors. Don’t trim your eyebrow hair

7. Repeat the same procedure under your eyebrow. Work in a small area and be careful not to epilate where you just finished. If so, apply a little baby oil to your skin to remove the wax.

8. Apply a vitamin E lotion. You can also take a moisturizer that you will pass on the area you have just waxed. Don’t skip this step, as it will prevent your skin from swelling and reddening in just a few minutes. Wait a bit before rinsing off the product

9. Make up your eyebrows lightly. Use your brush and powder. No one has perfect eyebrows, even after plucking them. This will allow you to have more symmetrical eyebrows

Method 2

Wax your eyebrows with honey and sugar

1. Mark the desired shape of your eyebrow. You can use powder or an eyebrow pencil. This will help you pluck your eyebrows without removing the hairs you want to keep. Use a small makeup brush to apply a powder that matches the shape of your eyebrow. You can also use an eyebrow pencil to create the shape you want.

2. Gather your ingredients. Provide the following items: two teaspoons of brown sugar, a teaspoon of honey, a teaspoon of water, a butter knife, a lollipop stick and strips of fabric to remove the preparation.

3. Do the preparation. Combine sugar, honey and water in a microwave-safe container. You can also heat your preparation in a saucepan if you don’t have a microwave.

4. Heat your preparation until it forms bubbles. The temperature of your preparation is important: if you don’t heat it enough, it will be too soft and too sticky and if you heat it too much, it will be as hard as candy. Try several times until you get the right texture (usually you need to heat your mixture for 30 to 35 seconds).
It will take longer in a saucepan than in the microwave.

5. Let your preparation cool. This part is crucial. You won’t know if your preparation has been overheated if you don’t let it sit. If it is too thick, dilute it with a little water.

6. Apply your sugar wax to the stick above your eyebrow. You can also use a flat knife. For safety reasons, pluck only one eyebrow at a time. And if you’re not comfortable, ask a friend for help.
Be careful not to accidentally put wax on the area you just finished! But, if you do, that’s okay, because just dab a little baby oil on it to remove it.

7. Place a strip of fabric over your eyebrow. Apply it in the same direction as your hair growth. Let it sit for a few seconds before pulling it out in the opposite direction of your hair growth. Sugar wax is not as painful as paraffin wax.

8. Treat the treated area. Apply vitamin E lotion or moisturizer to the area you just waxed. Do not skip this step, as it will prevent your skin from swelling and reddening. Wait a few minutes, then rinse off the product.

9. Repeat these same steps for your other eyebrow. Take your time so that your eyebrows are symmetrical, because otherwise you could have two eyebrows of different shapes. Make up any spaces between your hairs with a pencil or powder and tweeze the remaining hairs.

Method 3

Pluck your eyebrows with a professional waxing kit

1. Check the composition of your kit. Most waxing kits contain pre-waxing soap, a wax applicator, paraffin wax, a tool to heat your wax, and strips of pelon or muslin. You can also provide baby powder, tweezers, small scissors and baby oil, which will make it easy to remove excess wax .

2. Pull your hair back. Shape and start trimming your eyebrows. If your eyebrows are very thin, it shouldn’t take long.

3. Wash your eyebrows with soap. Rinse with a damp glove. Apply some talcum powder to your hand, take a small amount and sprinkle it on both of your eyebrows. This will help absorb moisture so that your strips and wax adhere well to your skin .
